Right-Wing Freaks Out Because Obama Shook Someone’s Hand

Sorry, righties, Raul Castro is no Adolf Hitler. In fact, you are now proving Godwin’s Law and being lazy by invoking what has become trite already. Every time someone does something you don’t like, that person is Hitler. No one is Hitler, but Hitler, alright? Least of all, the brother of a guy who would otherwise be running Cuba except he’s too infirm.  When you’re at what amounts to a state funeral and the leader of another country shove his hand toward yours you don’t slap it away like it’s a bug. You act graciously like the leader of the free world you are. To John McCain it was as though Hitler shook hands with Neville Chamberlain. But, then John McCain may be jealous in that he never became president or even Vice President, which would have had him at more state funerals than you can shake a stick at.

So, get over the fact that the President of the United States shook the hand of a communist at a world event honoring the life of Nelson Mandela. You know who was also a communist? Nelson Mandela.
