Rob Ford Gives His Side On Own TV Show

On his Sun Network show, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford gave his side of his story without the pesky press having to interfere.

One segment featured Ezra Levant, host of a different Sun News show and a Ford supporter, ticking off the names of other politicians – including Ted Kennedy – who have used drugs or committed crimes while in office. Other segments featured questions that Ford shrugged off by talking about “looking forward” and repeatedly saying “the past is the past.”

Rob and his brother, City Councilor Doug Ford, frequently bantered back and forth, either about the media’s obsession with Rob Ford’s personal life or his political agenda and record as a man of the people…

“I understand people were embarrassed by actions I made in the past,” Ford said as he stood next to his brother on the show’s set. “All I can do is assure you, assure you that I am changing my behavior.”
