Over 2,200 Sponsors Have Pulled Ads From Rush Limbaugh’s Radio Show

One can conclude it wasn’t such a good idea to call Sandra Fluke a “slut” after all:

The StopRush Project has announced that over 2,200 sponsors have pulled ads from Limbaugh’s show, via documented messages/statements. Many other sponsors have left his show quietly, bringing the actual amount of sponsors who have left, to a higher, unknown total.

Many wonder how Limbaugh manages to stay afloat, given the mass sponsor exodus. It’s now been reported that FreedomWorks, linked to The Tea Party and Super PAC, has been picking up much of the slack for Rush, after his loss of  so many advertisers. Adding insult to injury, StopRush groups also report that some sponsors were offered free ad spots on the Limbaugh show to fill the empty space (and sometimes even the free offers were turned down).
