Bill Clinton Raises the Roof

Bubba is back. The man can marry folksiness with common sense, real-life connections, and details on policy. He clears the air on the GOP’s purposeful misinformation of the electorate. He brings the toxic political atmosphere to the forefront and unveils it. He can captivate an audience for a length of time that has journalists complaining. Former President Bill Clinton has built a solid foundation for President Barack Obama to accept the nomination of the Democratic Party. Read the entire speech here.

For starters, he painted a picture of an extreme Republican Party, one far to the right of the one he worked with from 92-00. H acknowledged that Congressional Republicans hate the President in a way he never could be capable of disliking someone on the other side of the aisle: “Clinton said he never managed to hate Republicans the way the far right hates Obama.”
